When it comes to international travel, there's always one must-have: a passport. Whether you have one or need one, we've got the 411 on this coveted little blue book.

Making Sure Your Passport is Valid

Some countries require that a passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip (meaning you may need to renew after all), and a few won't allow entry if your passport indicates travel to Israel. If either of these issues applies to you, call the National Passport Information Center at 1.888.362.8668 for help.
Have you gotten married and changed your name since you last got your passport? You'll need to make a certified copy of your marriage certificate and send it, your passport, and a Passport Amendment/Validation Application
