Dublin is a city without spending any money left to visit. We will see a
number of options that serve both to passengers traveling without a cent and for
those who want to experience the Irish spirit and learn its secrets.
If rain is in the street we are a very interesting option to meet indoors,
enjoying art and without spending a penny! The art galleries are free in the
Irish capital.
The National Gallery is the most important of the city. Within its walls keeps
the works of painters leading Irish and European. The IMMA (Irish Museum of
Modern Art) is also free and contains modern and contemporary works very
interesting. This latter museum
is housed in a seventeenth-century hospital.
Here tours are also free (the fact that the museum is free is because they have
received large donations), but fill up fast so you have to sign up in advance.
Some of these galleries can charge to visit the temporary exhibitions, permanent collections but are always free.
Museums: Museums in Dublin are free! So no excuses not to visit. The National Museum has several branches in the city: History and Archeology, Decorative Arts and the Museum of Natural History.
The city also has other major museums and attractions as well as some not so small that they are less interesting.
Visit libraries, well, perhaps those who love reading and I had thought, personally is the best option for a boring rainy afternoon.
Visit and public DIFICIO: Visiting buildings Leinster House or the Parliament are free. A fact not widely publicized, but all government buildings are open to the public and are completely free. To take advantage!
In the National Gallery of Ireland is a stunning and immense art consortium
which offers tours and lectures are free and open to the public. In general,
conferences include topics of national interest. A tip: Often there are concerts
that are free of charge assistance in general. Among the musicians there are
many important Irish composers.
