Tenerife: Mount Teide rising

tenerife-mount-teide-rising2Tenerife, it is wonderful! The variety of landscapes and hiking, architecture, food, the weather ... all I'll hang in locuraviajes bog. But as we have something to start, I chose one of the undisputed stars of the break in Tenerife: Tide view.

No matter the plan you go: family, friends, relaxing on a beach ... if you take a day to make this trip, you will be losing one of the wonders of this wonderful island.

If you decide to go on organized tour, you will not have to worry about anything: a "bus" with more passengers will take you to

key sites, usually starting in the South or if you stay in Puerto de la Cruz, La Ortega.

But if you decide to rent a car, our advice is doing not hesitate to explore the island by mountain axis: starting from La Esperanza (near town of La Laguna) and continuing along the road that takes you to the National Park of Las Canada’s del Tide. So you go through different landscapes as you go uphill, see the sea of clouds and how it enters the woods, and have the opportunity to see the north and south about the same time.

For the return you'll have three main options: the south, coming to the Cliffs of the Giants, for the North, down the Ortega, and return the way you came.
