On the website Woman's Day, published (in English) an article that reviews
ten parks in urban notables some major cities worldwide.
Many of them become real oasis amid the concrete jungle. True green lungs, are
also the largest urban parks in the world, places where there are plenty of
activities to do. We began our walk:
Central Park in New York. / One of the most famous city parks and we all know at
least see him in movies and TV series. Central Park in New York was the first

Hyde Park, London / One of the largest in London, Hyde Park is the green lung of the city, with beautiful gardens and places of interest like the now famous Speakers Corner, a place where anyone can give a speech to the pedestrians.
Vondelpark, Amsterdam / The most famous park in the Netherlands , Vonderlpark
attracts millions of visitors who come to jog, rollerblade or just being
outdoors. Vondelpark is the setting for special events such as concerts, in
addition to delicious cuisine places between lots of nature, or a coffee with
friends.
Stanley Park, Vancouver / Located on the edge of downtown Vancouver, Canada,
Stanley Park is a large public park with more than 500,000 trees, aquarium, farm
for children, a water park and golf course among other activities .
Ueno Park, Tokyo / Located near Ueno Station, the park is famous for its
museums, art galleries, a zoo and a huge and famous pond. It also has about
1,000 cherry trees that are ideal to see blossom in spring.
Englischer Garten, Munich / Another of the most famous city parks in the world,
the Englischer Garten of Munich has famous gardens, a lake with three islands, a
Japanese tea house, Greek temples and attractions for children.
Parque de Chapultepec, Ciudad de Mexico / The park in the capital, at the end of
Paseo de la Reforma. It is also a green area, the scene of the National Museum
of History, the presidential residence, the zoo and the Castle of Chapultepec,
among other attractions.
Parque Metropolitano de Santiago de Chile / is one of the largest urban parks in
the world, also known as Cerro San Cristobal, the capital of Chile . In its
extension is the National Zoo, swimming pools and above all, the best panoramic
view of the city. /
Tiergarten, Berlin / Home to many offices and parliamentary institutions, the
Tiergarten is a true urban forest with its own ecosystem, as well as sculptures
and monuments. The park is the scene of the most popular mass events in Berlin
including the Love Parade
